Morris A. Mechanic Theater | Baltimore, MD This is a very good example of the Brutalist style of architecture which became popular and subsequently faded 30 years ago.  This style is currently under-appreciated because of its unfinished look, and many brutalist buildings are in danger of being demolished.  The Mechanic was slated for a similar five years ago before it was put on the National Register of Historic Places.
