Possibly the best example of western constructivism, the Van Nelle factory in Rotterdam is one of Leendert van der Vlugt’s most recognizable work. Construction was started in 1927 and the building was completed in 1929.

Narkomfin Building - Moisei Ginzburg
Designed and built in Moscow, Russia in 1932, the Narkomfin building served as a block of apartments during the Soviet era. It is a one of the last examples of the “Constructivist” style of architecture which flourished in the Soviet Union in the first half of the 20th century, combining modern technology and engineering with social purpose.
